A quick note of thanks to everyone who came out to the "BATTLE OF GATLINBURG 2018" last weekend from event juggernaut, John Reinhardt of the Smoky Mountain Chapter of Trout Unlimited. “Whether you were a competitor, stream monitor, sponsor, or attendee your participation was greatly appreciated!”

“Congratulations to Roger, Peyton. Josh and Brian; our top four finishers and to all our anglers who made this event possible,” says Rinehardt. “We truly had lightning in a bottle with stream conditions, weather, and the sheer number of fish caught and released. Total fish in inches caught by the anglers was 1,975.5 inches of rainbow trout; that is 164.62 feet of trout...astounding in a 3-hour timeline.”
Reinhart has posted pictures and storyline in all his social media and websites this week. There will get an additional story in the October issue of Southern Trout Magazine.
“Again thank you and I look forward to "BATTLE OF GATLINBURG 2019" and seeing everyone in the most unique fast-paced event the ONE FLY ROYALE!” says Reinhardt.
