A day of fishing with guides from the local TU chapters. Southwest Virginia has a bevy of fishing opportunities to offer anglers of all skill level. Gain some elevation and chase beautiful brook trout in the Blue Ridge Mountains. If that's not your cup of tea, there are plenty of tailwaters and larger rivers under a few hours' drive of Roanoke where catching 20"+ brown trout is a regular occurrence. The Roanoke River, just a few miles from the hotel is stocked with some big trout for all to enjoy and you'll get back in time for dinner.
TU members will gather at Shula's grill in the hotel lobby.
