Tennessee Winter Trout

Wild trout fishing is generally limited to East Tennessee’s mountain streams and tailwater rivers. In recent years, as it has become popular during the cold weather months, trout are stocked in waters unable to hold trout (mostly in West Tennessee) throughout the year. Many of these stocking locations are in Tennessee’s largest urban centers such as Memphis and Nashville. Here’s the stocking schedule for the remainder of 2016.
